What is a local ip address and how to find it

The best example of local ip address can be defined by your Home network, Generally, Now a days every house hold has an internet connection which is connected by a wifi router and we get access to internet by connecting our PC's and other devices by connecting to that router and the router will assign  ip addresses to each and every device connected to the router

If your PC or any other devices are connected to a router .The router will automatically assign a local IP address to your PC and every other device connected to router, the local ip address can change from device to device which are connected on a same network(router) Generally, most of the routers will assign a IP address which ranges from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.255 these ip address can differ from manufacturer to manufacturer. In most of the routers these are default local ip's.
                                    For example: your pc’s: 192.168.0.3

                                                       Your mobile:192.168.0.4

Your router can assign upto: 192.168.0.254

So, router can assign 254 local IP to 254 local devices which are connected on a same network
